Thanks a lot for the Malawa recipe.
I LOVE it. I just made it and my family loved it a lot.

I am Indian by origin, but I had many many friends from Somalia when I was in US. I always ate Malawa and Bur all the time.

I tried this recipe for the first time and i m in love with it.

Thanks a lot for sharing wonderful recipes.

  5. Assalamu Alaikum sis

It sounds like the batter was too thick. Also the pan wasn't hot enough. You maybe put too much as well.

Making anjera and malawa can be soooo tricky. It also depends on the pan.

Thank you for all the wonderful Somali recipes! My family is enjoying them.
One quick question...what is the difference between malawa and anjeera? I'm trying to find the one my in-laws made for us.
    Thanks...
