Cream Corn Fritters

1 cup cream corn
2 eggs
1 ts. salt
3/4 cup flour
1 1/2 ts. baking powder
1/4 ts. pepper

1. Sift the flour and the baking powder in a bowl; add the salt and pepper.
2. Add the corn and eggs; gently stir to combine.
3. Drop by spoonfuls in oil.
4. Fry until golden brown.
5. Remove and drain on paper towel.
