  2. Ramadan Kareem Tammy - I got your site from another sister who made a few of your recipes for iftar dinner last week. Her tip for the sambusa wrappers are UN-cooked flour tortillas. (We can find them at Costco, a wholesale store in West Coast USA) They are super easy to handle, cook up nicely and are not as thick as the cooked tortilla.
Jazzak Allah khairun for your recipes! I'll be back for more. And do your kids do a lot of chores? Or how do you have so much time to cook, take pictures and post to the blog :) Mash'Allah!

  3. Assalamu Alaikum Holly

Wow uncooked tortilla wrappers eh! I will have to look at costco. We have one next door so they must sell the same stuff.
    Are ou on Facebook?

As for m kids, they do their regular chores. The are older now so they help out. Also the food I make is basically what I make for supper. Except the desserts because it is Ramadan. Also when I make the fillings for the sambusas I freese the filling to use at a different time. I usually only make 3 sambusas for iftar.

  4. Salam Alaykoum Tammy
I am not on Facebook. I am already addicted to email, so I guess I'll stick with that :)

The tortillas are by Tortilla Land and called Uncooked Flour Tortillas. Hopefully if your Costco doesn't have them, maybe they can get them by request?
