1 cup carrots; boiled and mashed
1 cup flour
2 ts. sugar
1 ts. baking powder
1/2 ts. salt
1/2 cup milk
1. Sift the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
2. In a small bowl, mix the egg with the milk.
3. Pour the egg and milk mixture into the flour mixture; mix thoroughly.
4. Stir in the carrots.
5. Drop teaspoon full into hot oil.
6. Remove with a slotted spoon; drain on paper towel.
