Chickpea Salad (Indian)

1 14 oz. can chickpeas; drained and washed
4 carrots; cut into matchsticks
1 bunch of green onion; chopped
1 small cucumber; chopped (I like them cut into large chunks.)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 red bell pepper; sliced
1. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and chill until needed.
